TD and NFCC Renew Partnership to Provide Financial Education Seminars

TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, recently announced continued partnership with the NFCC to sponsor 110 adult financial education seminars for approximately 2,000 people in Boston, Florida, New York City, Metro Washington D.C., Philadelphia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

NFCC member agencies will host the seminars, scheduled through Dec. 31, 2015, with a focus on budgeting and basic financial management skills, understanding credit reports and scores, and preparing for home ownership. The seminars are geared towards adults and college students with topics such as “Show Me the Money” and “Credit Reports and Scores.” These diverse seminars will be led by NFCC member agencies with support from TD employee volunteers.

Keating, president and CEO of the NFCC. “The NFCC member agency network is pleased to be chosen by TD Bank to continue delivering education to a growing number of communities.”

The seminars are free of charge and open to individuals and families who are struggling with personal finances and may benefit from credit counseling services or who want to learn more about buying a home, building personal wealth, or investing for the future.

Metro Washington D.C.: GuideWell Financial Services

Philadelphia: Clarifi
North Carolina: OnTrack Financial Education and Counseling in Asheville
South Carolina: ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions in Greenville
