After careful consideration, we have decided to adjust the format of our annual signature event, NFCC Connect, to a special webinar series due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This decision was made in order to ensure the safety and security of our attendees, staff and operational personnel – and also so that you don’t have to miss out on this can’t-miss experience!
We are working diligently to secure top-notch speakers and meaningful topics for our virtual series, which will begin in September. Sessions will include the newest research on the impact of credit counseling, emerging FinTech trends, solutions for homeowners and renters, and next steps in the expansion of debt repayment solutions for today’s consumers. We will update the website when registration for this webinar series opens online.
Our annual member meeting and election, the Counsel on Member Affairs (CMA), Board of Trustees and creditor breakout sessions will also take place online. Scheduling and participation details will be provided soon.
Finally, if you had already registered and paid for the in-person conference, NFCC will be refunding 100% of the registration fee paid for each registrant to the credit card used for the registration payment. Payments will be processed within seven days and a credit receipt will be emailed to the email address submitted with the registration. If you have made hotel reservations for the conference, you will need to notify Marriott (Westin is part of Marriott Hotels) of the cancellation and obtain a cancellation number from Marriott for your records. By phone, contact Marriott Group Reservations at 1-888-236-2427 to cancel a reservation. Alternatively, login to your Marriott Bonvoy account, or use the instructions in the reservation confirmation email received from the Westin at the time the reservation was made.
While we will miss seeing you in-person this year, we are excited about the opportunity to provide you with access to high-quality content online in a way that preserves the value and impact of our annual event. We also remain optimistic that we will once again be able to gather in the Washington DC area for another full lineup of sessions and networking events in 2021.
