NFCC welcomes Sherrill Berk as new Vice President of Business Development
(Washington, DC) The National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) is pleased to announce that Sherrill Berk will join NFCC as Vice President of Business Development today. Sherrill will lead NFCC’s national fundraising initiatives, and will cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders in consumer financial health including financial institutions, corporate and family foundations, fintech organizations and other grantees and major donors.
Sherrill brings over 20 years of experience and a track record of success in business development and fundraising to NFCC, having led numerous partnership campaigns supported by corporations, foundations, and individuals for mission-driven organizations.
Sherrill comes to NFCC after serving as the Director of Development for the SCORE Foundation where her fundraising work supported SCORE’s mission to ensure vibrant growth in US entrepreneurship and small businesses through mentoring and business education.
Sherrill has also served in development roles for the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, Boston Institute of Finance, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, and the University of Virginia Health Foundation. Sherrill also served as a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch early in her career. Sherrill has her MBA from D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College.
